MICA Gallery with Ziui Chen Vance

Come meet Ziui Chen Vance at the Artists’ Reception from 5-8pm during Arts Night Out in Old Town this Friday, November 2nd. Learn about Ziui Chen Vance’s “‘Cause the eyes don’t lie” exhibition. Ziui Chen Vance reimagines the eyes of women that dominate art history as well as the meanings of their smiles. Chinese born and Michigan based, Ziui Chen Vance has 25 years of calligraphy training as well as a MFA from the University of Michigan Stamps College of Art and Design. Her interests lie in imagining new objects based on the visual language of emotions, as well as integrating calligraphy, painting and design. The show will run until December 30th.
