Old Town General Store with Nia Whittaker

Artist Statement: I majored in photography in college and spent the next 15 years honing and applying my skills and entering various art shows and competitions. I took a 10 year break when my children were young and my artistic style changed from being a straight photographer to more digital art. What really inspires me are color, patterns, and textures. I love to look for the hidden images within the obvious and bring out the intense colors that are often hidden away just beneath the surface.
