Arts Council of Greater Lansing
In celebration of National Youth Arts Month, this program promotes the work of area youth artists ages K-12 on digital billboards in and around Greater Lansing. In partnership with Adams Outdoor Advertising and capital region art teachers and students, the Arts Council supports digital billboards highlighting local student art. A wealth of community feedback indicates these billboards are not only visually attractive but are also effectively raising awareness about the importance of supporting young creatives in the Greater Lansing area.
The billboards chosen will go up next week! The artworks will be on Adams Outdoor Advertising digital billboards for the month of March. Get your first look at them at the Arts Council, projected onto our windows, during Arts Night Out!
Inside, we'll be serving (free) hot cocoa, pages from the Love Lansing coloring book available to color, and will be starting a community post-it exhibition (Inspiration taken from this IB Primary school in Ho Chinh Min City in Vietnam)! Doodle on a sticky note, and leave it on our board to be exhibited and added onto for the rest of the year!
