Tim Lane

Tim Lane is a poet, and a painter. He lives in Lansing, Michigan. Currently, he is the assistant  coordinator of the East Lansing Art Festival and the supervisor of the East Lansing Soccer Complex. Formerly, he was director and curator of (SCENE) Metrospace, the City of East Lansing’s contemporary art gallery and performance space. He has a master’s degree in creative writing from Michigan State University, where he worked very closely with the noted and decorated American poet, Diane Wakoski. His poetry has appeared in numerous print and online journals; his paintings have exhibited locally, as well as in Detroit, Chicago, Minneapolis, Cincinnati, South Bend and Washington, D.C.
