Marissa Tawney Thaler
Marissa Thaler is an art educator-turned-working artist in the Lansing area. Marissa has written two children's books and her "Drawing Folded Paper" series has been featured around Michigan and will be at the 2019 East Lansing Art Festival.
Marissa’s work, often narrative in nature, uses primarily drawing media to achieve a “bittersweet aesthetic.” Often working in series, Marissa aims to find the lighthearted side of struggles and moments of connection in everyday happenings.
