Artist statement:

"Doodles are good for the soul!

I am a cartoonist/illustrator who enjoys creating in various mediums but gravitates towards ink/watercolors. Having never acquired any formal training I have approached my artistic journey as one of a child, leaning into what I love while developing my knowledge.

The Gercs are my original characters and my oasis from reality. By bringing their world of Gercland to life I hope to share the happiness that I experience. These humble and joyful bunch of characters appeal to both young and old, while proving that you may grow old but you never have to grow up. My foundation in the creation of these pieces is one of passion. I feel in this way the possibilities are endless.”
